Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actor. She has starred in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy", a drama about a young woman called Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include her title character in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting career began at age 7 when an aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more serious. She was able to land important roles on television as well as on the big screen. Martin has a background as an actor and a skilled photographer and dancer has been in the business for the past twenty years. Martin is also a mom of two, and also the official spokesperson for Lupus. Since her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been working to spread awareness of Lupus and its symptoms.
