Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. The 30th of March, 2012, Bonnie will serve as the expert on TV, executive, and producer of a DIY NETWORK special, entitled Last House ReSISTING. Her first book EXTREME WEATHER published Palgrave Macmillan on January 31 in 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. She also covered lifestyle, entertainment and various other issues as Special Assignment Reporter for every day of the week working in Boston. Before joining WB56 she worked as the forecaster on weekends for WFOR-TV Miami. She's held a number of meteorology, reporting and TV positions. They include News 12 Long Island - a 24 hour cable news TV network - as well as WXII-TV - an NBC affiliate based in Winston-Salem. She also worked for an affiliate of the CBS Network in New York City as a frequent meteorologist filling in on The Saturday Early Show.
